Tatiana's Book Corner Newsletter - March 23rd

🌸And now, Spring🌸

I am not a fan of Winter. Cold is not my friend. I know that a warm cup of tea, a blanket and a good book are supposed to solve all of the Winter problems, but to me, it is just not enough. So, when Spring comes, it is a great celebration.

Spring means that I am already late thinking about my garden. Last year, I was growing things from seed all over my desk and preparing for planting season. This year, I am behind. Two days ago, I saw a raccoon happily enjoying the compost in the garden. I am aware it is time to turn my focus outdoors again.

Writing continues slow. I finally took a weekend off this weekend. It helps. Inspiration helps. It is so easy to forget how important play is in a creative process. Without play, it is hard to focus on work.

Andy and I went on an adventure. It was a gentle hike around a lake a couple of hours from home. It was lovely. Though, we thought that it was a 2 mile hike that ended up 3.6 miles. A small picnic followed. It is Spring. Yay!

The new giveaway is live! Check it out! Link and books below. The winners have been selected for the last giveaway. Check it out.

And I totally forgot to join more BookFunnel promos, so there will be some in the next newsletter in April.

Also, a small request... my books are desperate for reviews on Amazon. They are feeling lonely. If you have read them and feel like stopping by and adding your thoughts, it would be deeply appreciated.

🎁Tatiana's Book Corner Giveaway 🎁

IMPORTANT NOTE - I changed some things about the form to make my life easier. To choose which books you want to possibly win, you have to click on the box under the title of the book, above the description. As always, you can select all of the books. Each book is treated as its own giveaway. I allow only one person to win each book, so that one person doesn't get all of the books. I only allow one entry. If you fill out the form more than once, it only counts as one entry. All books are bought by me and sent via Amazon to the winner on the 6th of each month. I need your address so that I can mail the books to the winners. I detele the forms after the giveaway is over and the books are mailed. Thank you!!!

🌷May 2026 Giveaway🌷

The Antiquarian's Object of Desire (Love's Academic) - I love India Holton. She is the balm that I need in these turbulent times. I should be reading more, but I return to her, because she is funny, and sweet, and weird. This is her newest book. It comes out at the end of April and it is definitely the most anticipated book for the year. Life is better because of her books. A warm blanket in a stormy night.

Dungeon Crawler Carl - I am late to the game. I know that. Princess Donut only now has come to my attention. My son has loved them. Andy is reading it now and loving it. I am next.

The Midnight Carousel: A Novel - Night Circus meets Water for Elephants? What isn't there to love about the concept. It is also a brand new books and yay! I am excited.

The Astral Library (Deluxe Limited Edition): A Novel - I love Kate Quinn. The book is really, really beautiful. Like, what else could one possibly desire. Really.

This Book Made Me Think of You - A book about books, loving books, and enduring love. I am in.

The Poet Empress - This book just looks awesome, even though it has the shortest description ever. We will just have to see.

The rest are my books and I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I enjoy writing them.

🌹The Garden 🌹 Last year, I began my garden in January and February. I filled my bathroom and desk with baby plants ready to be put into the ground the moment the weather got warmer. That was 2025. 2026 has been a little different. Only yesterday did I begin the first efforts to create a garden. Hopefully, I will have some seeds planted by the end of the week. It is such a different feeling from last year. I have dragged my feet to put my hands into the dirt. It isn't only that my imagination...

🐰Bunny Rabbits and More🐰 Sometime in October, I was on my phone playing games. It is not an unusual situation. I love games on my phone. In this case, I decided to open up a home decorating app that I had closed a year before. I found out that if I played either a zombie battle game or a mythical creatures battle game, I could get points for more decorating. I started with the zombies. After a week, I was having nightmares. So I tried the mythical creature/castle building game. I haven't...

🌸Not Quite Spring🌸 I am back home this week. It was lovely to spend time in Seattle with my son's pets, and I am very happy to be back with Andy and the two kitties. I arrived to a very warm Asheville. The weather feels like spring is here, but it is early. Even the peach trees are beginning to bloom. It is a bit disconcerning. The reality is that it will get cold again, freeze the blooms, and the bears will have no peaches. I would mention us having peaches, but the bears have never left us...
