Tatiana's Book Corner Newsletter - January 26th

❄️East Coast Storms❄️

I have to admit that storms were in my brain this morning. Not in the way one would imagine. I worried about a giant storm all of last week. I waited with bated breath all weekend for disaster to strike. In my little corner of Asheville, North Carolina, not much happened. What did happen, which was lovely, was that schools closed. Andy, my partner, is a teacher. This meant I didn't have to wake up at 6:30 am.

I slept in, grateful for the gentle storm that struck us. Then, I woke, I ate a lovely breakfast with Andy, and sat down to do the work for my other job. Somewhere around 11:30 am, the coffee finally hit my brain.

Newsletter day!! And it was the big newsletter too. This meant four hours of work in a panic to get everything ready to go. I'd forgotten about it over the weekend as I worried about the storm. So, today's newsletter is a little late in the day. I apologize.

It was truly magnificent to sleep in though. So it is only a little apology. We have new books for the next giveaway below. I have been working hard towards finishing book 2 of the Indefatigable Five. I am three chapters from done. Hopefully, by the next newsletter, I can announce that I am finished.

If you didn't, then it is another person with the same first name. I will be sending out the books on February 6th. It usually takes me a few days to send them out. They will all be coming from Amazon.

Thank you so much for your participation.

IMPORTANT NOTE - I changed some things about the form to make my life easier. To choose which books you want to possibly win, you have to click on the box under the title of the book, above the description. As always, you can select all of the books. Each book is treated as its own giveaway. I allow only one person to win each book, so that one person doesn't get all of the books. I only allow one entry. If you fill out the form more than once, it only counts as one entry. All books are bought by me and sent via Amazon to the winner on the 6th of each month. I need your address so that I can mail the books to the winners. I detele the forms after the giveaway is over and the books are mailed. Thank you!!!

🎁March 2026 Giveaway🎁

I decided to add a bit of a note as to why I chose the books I did in each newsletter.

A Fellowship of Bakers and Magic - I love cozy books. It has been a tough January here in the US. I felt we needed a cozy book. Desperately.

Gate to Kagoshima - This book just looked awesome. Like really awesome. I can't wait to read it.

Before Dorothy - I saw this one in Barnes and Noble and it intrigued me. I had to add it to the list.

Maya and Natasha - This one as well. I am not usually one to read books like this, but I was drawn to this one. We shall see.

The Man Who Died Seven Times - This is supposed to be an amazing mystery. I had to add it.

In Deadly Company - This is supposed to be a dark, satirical, modern day mystery. It looked great.

The rest are my books and I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I enjoy writing them.

🐈Kittens and Cats🐈 This is Alistair Duncan Toby Weatherly. As you can see, Andy and I were having some difficulty choosing the name. He is four months old and the newest member of our family. I think he is amazing. Andy thinks he is amazing. Ru thinks that the world sent her a small torture device on purpose because the universe hates her. But that is Ru's personality. I am sure that in a week, she will realize that there is another cat she can bully and she will be as happy as a clam. I am...

❄️Happy 2026!❄️ Every year, it feels like January should be a quiet time. A time to reflect about the year left behind and the new year ahead. This year, it feels like time is flying by and I am not sure how to stop it. In a few days, we will be half way through January. I have goals for 2026. The first and most important goal is to get more books published. I published one book in 2025. It is not enough. For an indie author, it is outright tragic. I counted my half written books in December....

🎄A few more days left of 2025!🎄 This is my final newsletter of 2025. A new year is almost upon us. My year will be busy. I have book ambitions and work ambitions. Travel will happen. For many of us, 2025 was a hard year. I am hoping that next year will be a lot better. I hope everyone is staying warm and drinking lots of tea. Maybe hot chocolate too. It is that kind of weather. My Christmas was quiet and sweet. My New Year will be the same. I feel I am hiding from what's to come. For now, I...
