🐈Kittens and Cats🐈
This is Alistair Duncan Toby Weatherly. As you can see, Andy and I were having some difficulty choosing the name. He is four months old and the newest member of our family. I think he is amazing. Andy thinks he is amazing. Ru thinks that the world sent her a small torture device on purpose because the universe hates her. But that is Ru's personality. I am sure that in a week, she will realize that there is another cat she can bully and she will be as happy as a clam.
I am not sure how happy clams are. I have never talked with one. All I know is that Ru has dug herself into the blankets in the futon in the livingroom and probably will come out in Spring.
What does that have to do with books? Probably nothing, except that it is a kitten. Kittens are always a good thing. Besides, he is adorable. And cuddly. And utterly fearless. The last characteristic kind of terrifies me.
I always liked naming pets after book characters. Because I don't know an Alistair character, I desperately need your help. I will do it backwards. Could you please recommend me books that have an Alistair in them? This way I can actually say he was named after a character. It has to be an awesome character though. I decided to add a bit of a note as to why I chose the books I did in each newsletter.
A Fellowship of Bakers and Magic - I love cozy books. It has been a tough January here in the US. I felt we needed a cozy book. Desperately.
Gate to Kagoshima - This book just looked awesome. Like really awesome. I can't wait to read it.
Before Dorothy - I saw this one in Barnes and Noble and it intrigued me. I had to add it to the list.
Maya and Natasha - This one as well. I am not usually one to read books like this, but I was drawn to this one. We shall see.
The Man Who Died Seven Times - This is supposed to be an amazing mystery. I had to add it.
In Deadly Company - This is supposed to be a dark, satirical, modern day mystery. It looked great.
The rest are my books and I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I enjoy writing them.
