As I have mentioned before, I play a game with castles on my phone and my iPad. I have six castles, all with different bunny names. It has become a social circle. I have played with the same people since January. They are people from all over the globe. It has been an adventure.
The game has left me thinking a lot about story culture. So many people who play the game are readers. It makes sense. If you like to play a game with puzzles and mythological heroes, then by all logic, you probably like stories as well.
One thing has become clear. Community is important. We live in a time when community doesn't have to be local. As a result, I decided to start the monthly Zoom book club.
Additionally, I will begin a "Tuesday to Friday, 12 noon EST, reading and/or writing time" better known from this day forth as "Tatiana's Reading and Writing Corner". You can hop onto Zoom, turn off your mic, and have a bit of quiet company while you read or write.
Tomorrow, I will be there at noon. It is the same Zoom room as listed below.
Come join me! I hope to create a community of people who love books, and that it will help me focus my time so I can get more reading and more writing done. If you are looking for an hour to do this, you can join me online.
It would be great to have you there.
The result of having more live events is that I will need to increase the frequency of my newsletter. I will need a short event newsletter and my twice-a-month one. I will be figuring out how this will work. Ideally, you can stay on the twice-a-month newsletter and unsubscribe from the event one, or the other way around. I will let you know.

🚀A New Chapter🚀 Hello and welcome to this week's newsletter! This newsletter will be different. There are a lot of changes that will be happening in my life, and as a result, I wanted to adapt the newsletter and the giveaway accordingly. First of all, while I am not getting rid of the giveaway, I will be changing it. The original intention of the giveaway was two-fold. First, I wanted to create a book club. Second, I wanted to get my paperbacks into people's hands. My brain has a problem. It...
🚀Light at the End of the Tunnel🚀 For two and a half weeks, I struggled with the worst cold ever. By day 9, the doctors decided I did not have COVID, RSV, or the Flu. I got some antibiotics, and that made life better. I could breathe, and my brain didn't feel like mush. Then, the slow movement back to normal. I am not there yet. But for two days, I have been able to function normally. I still run out of breath much too easily. I am happy to be on the mend. In the midst of the cough...
🌹Spring Fever🌹 My newsletter will be short today. I have a bad cold. Between coughing and general misery, I don't seem to get my brain to process much of anything. The kitten, Alistair, enjoys sleeping by my feet. My cat, Ru, likes keeping me company as long as the kitten is not present. If the kitten sees Ru, he jumps on her head. For obvious reasons, Ru tries to avoid the interaction. My life is a little more pleasant with cat company. Andy has been very sweet, making my life more...
