Tatiana's Book Corner Newsletter - December 15th

🎄Happy Holidays🎄

I hope everyone is staying warm as we fast approach the holidays. It feels surreal that we are so close to the end of the year. It is hard not to think about everything I wanted to accomplish and didn't happen.

The cold makes me want to cuddle with a blanket, a good book and some hot chocolate, hopefully with plenty of whipped cream. Sadly, I still have much work to accomplish between now and then.

I am one of those people that loves the holiday season. After, I always feel a bit empty. I love finding gifts for people and decorating the tree. It has been years since I have been back in Mexico for Christmas. I love being down there too with the posadas and everything else that happens in celebration of the holidays.

We call it Guadalupe - Reyes. The great big party that begins on the day of the Virgin of Guadalupe on December 12th and runs through the arrival of the three kings on January 6th. It is a marathon of merriment. In Asheville, I have managed to get a few presents and set up a tree.

Andy found sugar free and dairy free hot chocolate mix that should be arriving shortly. It is very exciting. My doctor removed both sugar and dairy from my diet. It has turned the holidays into a bit of a sad affair.

On a very important note... I have all my eBooks at 99 cents because I keep forgetting to go into KDP and change the price. Please enjoy. My paperbacks are still on sale too. Check them out. Here is my linktree with details or you can click on the links below.

🥳The Fun Stuff 🥳

This might be the most popular giveaway I've had yet. There are still two more weeks to sign up if you haven't already. Winners will be announced in my next newsletter on December 29th. I also have a couple BookFunnel promos below for science fiction. Check them out.

🎁Tatiana's Book Corner Giveaway 🎁

For those of you who are just discovering my newsletter, every month I have a giveaway of twelve paperback books. I announce the winners the next month and send out the books every 6th of the month.

Every book I choose was either written by me or I desperately want to read. Since I buy one copy to give away and one copy for me, it ends up being a wonderful way to increase my reading selection. Like so many authors, I love books and reading more than anything else in the world. In the future, I would love to do a more active book club. I just haven't had the time to do it.

🎁January 2026 Giveaway🎁

I decided to add a bit of a note as to why I chose the books I did in each newsletter.

Cemetery Boys - I loved the concept. I loved the writer. As a Latine, I love supporting other Latine authors. I am super excited to read this YA fantasy.

The Scorpion and the Night Blosson - It looks like such a beautiful book. I fell in love with the cover.

Night Watch - This book has been on my TBR forever. It looks magnificent and I am dying to read it.

Equal Rites - I am a die hard Terry Pratchett fan and I never had a Terry Pratchett book in my giveaway. I don't think I've read this book in 30 years, so I thought I would add it. It is the first one of the witches. I have read the other witch books probably fifteen times.

Remarkably Bright Creatures - I have had this book on my TBR, I desperately want to read list, forever. It has been on the backlog of books I wanted for my giveaway for over a year.

The Jasad Heir - This one I saw, I photographed so I would remember I wanted to read it, then I saw a tiktok on it, then I saw it come up elsewhere. One way or another, I think it will be a worthy read.

The rest are my books and I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I enjoy writing them.

✨The new giveaway is now live!!! ✨

🎄A Very Warm Welcome🎄 I know this is an inbetween newsletter. Sorry about that. It is a special one because of the TALES Reader Appreciation Event that ended yesterday. I had giveaways specific to this event. First of all, we have quite a few new subscribers, so welcome to my newsletter. Except for this week in December, my newsletter comes out every Monday, every other week. It contains several parts. First, a bit of an update about me and my books. Second, my monthly giveaway information....

I don't know what happened with the time, but we are suddenly here. December. It is time for hot chocolate, warm fires, shopping for the holidays and Jamie Dalton's TALES Reader Appreciation Party. More on that below. I celebrated another birthday last week. The photo above was on my birthday. I wanted to go see the holiday lights and the...

Reader Appreciation Event Dec. 1-7

🎄Reader Appreciation Event Announcement 🎄 This is the once-a-year break in my newsletter schedule. On Monday, Jamie Dalton begins her yearly reader appreciation event. I think it is one of the great Indie Author events for readers each year. You have tons of authors, each presenting in 30-minute intervals all week. There are opportunities to win all sorts of bookish things. It is absolutely worth participating in it. Click here to sign up to the Facebook Group. My slot is on Tuesday at 2:00...
